These errors could be caused by a communication problem between the printer’s chip and the cartridge’s chip. There is an easy fix.
To fix an HP printer cartridge issue, you should first reset the printer. After the printer is turned on, unplug the power cord. Wait 60 seconds before you unplug the power cable from the power source. After your printer has had some “rest”, connect the power cord to the wall outlet. Turn on the printer to complete the reset.
If that doesn’t work, you can remove the cartridge and reinstall it 2-3 times until it is securely seated in the slot. Turn off the printer, then remove all cartridges. Use a clean, dry cloth to remove any lint from the cartridges. Then rinse it with distilled water. To remove dirt and residue, gently wipe the contacts of the cartridge. Allow the contacts to dry for 10 minutes, then you can replace the cartridge. Make sure the cartridge clicks into the slot. Keep printing and turn on the printer.

Low ink is one of the most common errors that you will notice when printing. This may sound strange, especially if you have just changed your cartridge. Let’s look at how we can fix it.

Fix HP incompatible print cartridge error
You may receive the message “Incompatible Cartridge” indicating that the cartridge was not placed in the correct slot.
If you receive this error, ensure that the cartridge model numbers correspond to your printer model and country/region. After this, verify that they have been installed in the correct slots.
HP defective ink cartridge
The error “Cartridge problem” may occur. The dirt that has accumulated over the exploitation period may cause “Depleted Ink Cartridge” or “Remove and Reinstall”.
You can override the HP ink cartridge error by removing and reinstalling the cartridge 2-3 times until the cartridge is securely seated in the slot. Turn off the printer, then remove all cartridges.
Use a dry, lint-free cloth to gently wipe off any residue or dirt from the cartridge’s contacts. Make sure the cartridge is securely inserted into its designated slot. The printer is now ready for action!
