Those who are applying for Singapore citizenship need to make sure they submit a document package that are perfectly free from errors with up-to-date information. The Singapore Citizenship Application Form is available online through the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) website. All applications for citizenship must be submitted electronically through ICA’s e-Service portal.
Steps to Access and Complete the Singapore Citizenship Application Form:1. Access ICA’s Citizenship e-Service
- Visit the ICA e-Service Portal.
- Log in using your SingPass account. If you don’t have one, you will need to register for SingPass first.
2. Start the Application
- Once logged in, navigate to the “Singapore Citizenship Application” section.
- Choose the relevant application type (adult, minor, spouse of a citizen, etc.).
- Fill in all the required fields in the application form, including personal details, employment information, and education history.
3. Upload Required Documents
- You will be prompted to upload scanned copies of the documents required for your specific application category (passport, PR card, tax returns, marriage certificate, etc.).
- Ensure all documents meet the format and size requirements (PDF, JPEG, etc.).
4. Review and Submit
- Review the information provided in the form carefully. Ensure that all documents are uploaded correctly and are clear.
- Once everything is in order, submit the application.
5. Pay the Application Fee
- You will need to pay an application fee.
- Payment can be made online via credit or debit card through the e-Service portal.
6. Track Application Status
- After submission, you can track the status of your application online through the same portal.
